IBS is often defined as the “diagnosis of exclusive”.  A person is
given this diagnosis when they suffer from a variety of digestive
complaints but all the lab tests come back as normal.  Common
symptoms include:

  • Constipation and/or diarrhea
  • Flatulence/gas
  • Abdominal pain/bloating
  • Nausea

  • Low appetite
