Allergy Testing
- Food Allergy Testing - A food allergy is an abnormal
response by the immune system to a food trigger.
Development of food allergies is dependent on a number
of factors including timing of exposure to the allergenic
food, frequency of consuming the allergenic food, and the
integrity of the gastrointestinal system. Food allergies are
implicated in a wide variety of conditions, some of which
include migraine, depression, inflammatory bowel disease,
chronic ear infections, eczema, psoriasis, recurrent
infections, and weight gain. We offer testing for both
immediate (IgE) and delayed onset (IgG) food allergy
testing.
- Inhalant Allergy Testing – This test includes tree, plant and
weed, environmental and mold allergens.
Hair Analysis to Assess for Heavy Metal Toxicity - Toxic
elements may be 200-300 times more highly concentrated in
hair than in blood or urine. Therefore, hair is the tissue of choice
for detection of recent exposure to elements such as arsenic,
aluminum, cadmium, lead, antimony, and mercury.
Comprehensive Digestive Stool Analysis - Evaluates digestion
and absorption of meat fibers, plant fibers and fats, gut flora,
parasites and the colonic environment, checks for proper
enzymes and stomach acid production.
Saliva Hormone Testing - Saliva hormone testing is most useful
for uncovering hormone imbalance. For example: discovering a
woman has insufficient progesterone to balance high estradiol
levels or; that high cortisol levels are interfering with the action
of progesterone and testosterone. Specific tests available
include:
- Female panel
- Male panel
- Adrenal panel
